Rabbi Yerachmiel D. Fried, the founder and leader of our organization, has been with DATA for 30 years.
With gratitude to Hashem, and thanks to our leader, Rabbi Fried, in the past thirty years, DATA has gone far beyond the imagination of the founding fathers in fulfilling its mission. With the guidance and direction of Rabbi Fried, DATA will, G-d willing, continue to succeed for many years to come.

Rabbi Fox has worked for DATA for 7 years. He is from New York and now lives in the South Jewish Community with his wife, Shani, and their three children. “It's an honor to Work in an organization with an illustrious history of building the Jewish community in Dallas and it's invigorating to be a part of the process of taking DATA to the next level- DATA 2.0!”

Rabbi Muller has worked with DATA for seven years. He is from Baltimore, MD and he now lives in the South Jewish Community with his wife, Raizy, and their six children.

Dallas Community Kollel
Rabbi Rosenshein moved to Dallas with his wife Miriam and family in 2020 from Lakewood, NJ. The Rosensheins share a tremendous desire to elevate the Kollel and community to the next level. As the Rosh Kollel he focuses on supporting Rabbi Fried in teaching and learning with the Dallas Kollel, providing training for prospective teachers and scholars, enabling these young rabbis to engage in advanced Talmudic learning.

Rabbi Poupko is originally from Montreal, Canada and has spent decades in American Yeshivot. Rabbi Poupko, his wife Chany and their five children moved to Plano, TX in June of 2023. He is the Head Rabbi of Lev Yisrael, DATA of Plano’s shul. Rabbi Poupko is also the Rosh Chavurah of the Dallas Community Kollel, joining in the South for Second Seder. Rabbi Poupko is excited to join the DATA family and help touch the lives of Jews across DFW!

Rabbi Raphoel and Miriam Tessler joined the Dallas Community Kollel in August of 2022. Rabbi Tessler was born and raised in New York and Miriam is from Detroit. Since joining the Dallas Community Kollel, Rabbi Tessler has made a big impact with his Shiurim and Machshava ideas he shares. Miriam Tessler is a teacher at the Mesorah High School for girls.

Rabbi Zecharia and Chana Greenfield were both born and raised in New York. They moved to Dallas in August 2022, with their three children, when they joined the Dallas Community Kollel. You will often find Rabbi Greenfield playing his guitar at a Kumzitz or other fun events!
Both Rabbi Greenfield and Chana have been closely involved in helping Jews connect to yiddishkeit and each other.

Rabbi Shmuel and Yitta Rochel Lazarus moved to Dallas from New York in August of 2022 with their four children. Since joining the Dallas Community Kollel, Rabbi Lazarus has been closely involved with advanced learning of DATA members, guiding them on popular and controversial halachic subjects. Yitta Rochel has been involved in DATA women’s programming, supporting learning with many of DATA’s female members.

Rabbi Rauch moved to Dallas from Los Angeles with his wife Devorah and their three children in the summer of 2023. He was born and raised in Monsey, NY and attended Yeshiva Shaar HaTorah and he later learned in Mirrer Yeshiva in Yerushalayim. Since moving here, Rabbi Rauch has led several advanced shiurim to DATA members and has become an integral part of the Dallas Community Kollel.

The Perlmans joined the Dallas Community Kollel in August of 2022. Rabbi Perlman was born and raised in Passaic, New Jersey and Tova in Montreal, Canada. They now live in the South Eruv with their three daughters. The Perlmans have been an incredible addition to the Kollel and the Dallas Jewish Community. Rabbi Perlman is very passionate about connecting with other Jews and helping them to learn about Jewish culture and law.

Rabbi Shmuel and Ahuva Becher moved to Dallas in August 2023 with their four children. They were both born in Israel. Since moving here, Rabbi Becher has enjoyed learning with the Kollel and has led several shiurim on popular halachic subjects, attended by DATA members across Dallas. Mrs. Ahuva Becher runs LINKS, a Jewish education program for students not currently attending day school, at Ohr HaTorah.

Rabbi Zakon was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He has spent a majority of his adult life here in Dallas with his wife, Rebbitzin Devorah Zakon, where they raised their four children. Although all of their children are grown, they still get plenty of baby time with their adorable grandson!

Rabbi Robkin was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. He now resides in Plano with his wife, Rebbitzin Shifra Robkin, and their five children. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Talmudic Studies from Ner Israel Rabbinical College and his Master’s Degree in Education from Loyola Chicago.

Rabbi Nissel is from Providence, RI, but he now lives in Plano, TX with his wife, Rebbitzin Tova Nissel, and their four children. Prior to his work at DATA, he received his Master’s Degree in Talmudic Law. He hopes that in the next three to five years, DATA is able to quadruple its impact on Jews in the DFW area.

Rabbi Honigsfeld was born and raised in Woodmere, New York. He now lives in Richardson, TX with his wife, Rebbetzin Ariella Honigsfeld, and their six children. He received his Rabbinical ordination from Ner Israel Rabbinical College and his master’s degree in counseling from Johns Hopkins University. He dreams that this community will offer an affordable Jewish community and create a positive impact on Jews through the beauty of Torah.

Olami
Rabbi Rubin was born and raised in South Africa and Rebbetzin Rubin in New York.
“Joining our Young Professionals division with Olami, which has 150 affiliate groups in Israel and Latin America, our resources and funding are heightened. We’re here for young people who have finished college, before they begin their own families, to help them realize what role Judaism plays for them and how they can integrate religion into their lives.”

Rabbi and Rebbetzin Chazzan moved to the United States from Jerusalem. They now live in Dallas with their three children.
The Chazzans enjoy working with DATA because they love the fulfillment of helping a fellow Jew connect to Israel. In the coming years, the two hope to help thousands of more Israelis connect to Judaism in a rich and meaningful way.
